All Walks Beyond the Catwalk in collaboration with

the National Portrait Gallery will unveil nine beautiful fashion portraits by Rankin, commissioned by the charity to showcase looks from nine major fashion names, like Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Matthew Williamson, Hussein Chalayan and Giles Deacon on models aged from 18 - 80.

All Walks was co-founded in September 09, by Erin O'Connor, Caryn Frankin and Debra Bourne, to engage the fashion industry in a conversation about the messages the industry sends out about beauty aesthetic.  We all know that fashion has the power to communicate messages to women about their bodies, so All Walks' passion is using this to inspire positive change.

This evening is the culmination of efforts to creatively explore the question: Has Fashion become the lens by which we evaluate our identity?

All activities are completely free - and in All Walks spirit, open to all and no tickets required, this Friday 11 February, 6pm-10pm.
