H&M was established by Erling Persson who opened the first store in Västerås, Sweden in 1947. Today there are several thousand stores in across the world. H&M’s business concept is to offer fashion and quality at the best price. H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB comprises six independent brands: H&M, COS, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday and & Other Stories.
