Margin, the longest-running independent fashion trade

event in London, will hit a momentous milestone in February 2012 with their 10 year show, marking a decade of introducing fresh brands and new designers. Started back in 2002, Margin is renowned amongst key buyers and press from quality stores and publications for providing a successful launchpad for directional new designers alongside credible established brands.

In February 2012, Margin will have held 22 exhibitions in London over 20 seasons, welcomed countless buyers and press, and, most importantly, helped bring many new and young labels to the attention of stores and magazines so they could launch and grow their businesses.

From super-brands such as Lazy Oaf, Supremebeing, Dephect, Ruby Rocks, Sugarhill Boutique, Loreak Mendian, and Upper Playground, to niche labels including Being Equal, Mulo, 1 in a 100, Rum Knuckles, Am Golhar, Yull, Emma Louise London, Villainous Visard, Galibardy, Ground Zero, Borba Margo, Junky Styling, Emily & Fin, Bibico, Young & Restless, Your Eyes Lie, Unequal Balance, and many more, Margin has helped brands launch and grow by organising the most affordable trade event for fresh talent. The 10 Year edition, taking place on the 12th & 13th February 2012, will be no exception with many new and exciting brands launching at Margin.

Respected London retailer Magma Books will be launching their new range of art-inspired clothing, accessories and stationery; and will be installing their art prints, by renowned illustrators such as Nigel Peake and Paul Blow, in the Magazine Lounge where visiting buyers and press can help themselves to copies of magazines by Margin media partners, including Sportswear International, Sport & Street, Huck, Little White Lies, and Oh Comely, and discover new drinks, from Bottlegreen's flavoured waters to the 100% natural energy drink by Pussy.

As well as much homegrown talent making their global debuts, brands from across the world (including Playmoney from France, My Net from Italy, Slow Dance from Japan, Silent Wood from Russia, Fusion from Romania, Karlinka from Austria, Chillout from Germany, Fuza from Denmark, ODM from Hong Kong, Talu from Cyprus, and Chelle from Singapore) will be exhibiting at Margin in February 2012.

Along with many new brands launching, from designer womenswear to men's streetwear, many previous Margin exhibitors are returning to take part in the 10 Year edition including Gentle Fawn, Seventyseven, Me & Zena, Gingko Press, Nooka Watches, Conquer, Humdrum, C Grand London, Trikki, Out of Print, Palmer Cash, Origin68, The Illustrated Mind, and Silas.

After an absence of some years when the label was only available in Japan, seminal streetwear label Silas returned to the UK when they exhibited their menswear at Margin in August 2010 and February 2011. Following the successful re-introduction of the brand to Europe, Silas are now bringing their women's clothing and accessories back to the UK for the first time in years and will be making their womenswear global trade debut at Margin in February 2012.

As well as promoting independent talent, Margin has also recently launched STRADD, the indie shop search app for iPhone to help support and promote indie stores and boutiques. iPhone users are able to search for nearby independent stores and boutiques, as well as watch store tour videos and take advantage of exclusive discounts. Independent multi-label stores can submit their details for listing at www.stradd.com.

The 10 year show will take place on the 12th & 13th of February 2012 at the central London location of The Music Rooms on South Molton Lane.
