Coming summer edition of kleine fabriek, on 8 & 9
July 2012 in the Amsterdam RAI, is already the 15th edition of the international trade show for children’s fashion and lifestyle. Besides a lot of new brands, kleine fabriek introduces the forecasting platform Trend Space with a free to download trend book and an ‘indigo kids’ pop-up store. The
Kleine fabriek started in the summer of 2005, as a little sister of Modefabriek, the successful fashion trade show. Kleine fabriek has since grown into an international leading event for professionals in the field of children’s fashion and lifestyle. In a splendid bright and dome-shaped hall, kleine fabriek presents not only a carefully compiled mix of brands to both national and international visitors; there also is a lot of attention for the newest developments and trends in this strongly evolving market. Besides contemporary segmentation with the four new areas Object+, Star, Industry and Blueprint, this summer a lot of focus is also on inspiring and practical extras.
Instead of the usual catalogue, this 15th show kleine fabriek publishes a magazine. Besides the usual exhibitor information, brand list and floor plan, this special publication features the new segmentation, some history, the new program and it highlights our faithful exhibitors, that have been with kleine fabriek from the very beginning.
Don’t miss out on kleine fabriek bookstore offering cool and special books, and the debuting ‘indigo kids’ variant of the HTNK Onedayshop in the Blueprint area. This infamous design pop-up store is curated by Amsterdam based fashion-matchmaking office HTNK, especially for kleine fabriek.
New this summer is the Trend Space, for a preview of flourishing trends in children’s fashion, -lifestyle and -retail. A special area with an exhibition and a free trend book, where kleine fabriek’s own trend watcher will be available to advice on what to buy, how to furnish your store and to answer all other trend related questions. Kleine fabriek’s trend book, a cooperation with trend forecasting companies Trendbible, Mudpie, Appletizer, The Cool Collector, Trendspire and Bloei, will be free to download at www.kleinefabriek.nl from the moment kleine fabriek opens its doors on Sunday July 8th.
But this is not all: kleine fabriek also has an inspiring photo exhibition curated by French magazine Milk, a designer ‘paper pop-up store’ by LikeStationery with a beautiful selection of notebooks, greeting cards and paperclips. And don’t miss out on our handy kleine fabriek bags that are supplied at the entrance. For a nice homecoming, kleine fabriek is happy to offer the traditional free shuttle service for destinations within Amsterdam.
