22 nationalities compete in IAF International Student Awards 2012

The application deadline for the IAF International

Student Awards 2012 closed yesterday at 12 o’clock midnight with applications coming in up until the last minute.

In total 84 students applied from 22 different countries and competed in the categories Fashion Design, Fashion Branding, and Product Development by handing in an extensive assignment including work from their portfolio and an interpretation of the brand in text and visuals.

Most applications came in for the category Fashion Design followed by Fashion Branding, and Product Development.

Most applications came in from University Iberoamericana in Mexico, followed by students from Kent State University in the US and Nottingham Trent University in the UK.

Winners will be announced in the following two weeks and will receive a paid internship at a top-notch fashion company. FashionUnited will publish work of the winners accompanied by an interview in 12 countries.
