Achievements
“Designed my first collection for womenswear brand Moka. Designed prints for Karma Design. Worked as a Window Dresser, stylist, shop organization and speaking with the franchises in Coronel Tapiocca, In Madrid, Spain. I worked as a volunteer in Calcutta at Mother Teresa’s charity helping elderly people, worked as a volunteer in Madrid cooking for homeless people.”

Since I was young I have been surrounded by fashion because my family had a fashion company called Coronel Tapiocca. We had 200 shops in Spain and all around Europe.

“I used to compete in show jumping and did lots of competitions.”

Currently working
“I'm designing for Moka SS12, a new London based womenswear label.”

Objectives
“My passion is prints. I love to walk in the street and find different things, like bubble wrap, tree bark, old flowers to paint them. To create prints, also I love to open my fathers toolbox, to take silicone, masking types or nuts. Capturing and understanding the elegance and femininity of the woman, with classically and comfortable styles for any occasion. I think that prints are the most important thing of a garment, and the shape should stay very simple. ‘Design and put it on’ that's my theory. I am the designer and model of Moka, by Inesmartinalcalde, because I think there is no better way to wear clothes when you've design them.”
