Tamsin Lejeune, Founder and Managing Director of the Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF). The EFF is the

environmental sustainability in the fashion industry. The EFF industry body focusing upon social and represents the world’s largest and most established network of fashion professionals dedicated to sustainability, representing almost 4000 members in over 100 countries.

Education
Hold masters degree in International Development with a focus upon fashion and fair trade and trained in fashion design and fashion business management. Also a fully qualified architect, graduating with a distinction and winning several awards, prior to focusing on the fashion sector.

Achievements
Led the EFF’s development and growth, from the first meeting around a table through to an international network of thousands of industry professionals.

Launching and managing a fair trade fashion label, coordinating an ambitious UK wide project integrating ethics into fashion college curricula.

Founding and managing the Ethical Fashion Forum since 2004, and working with hundreds of businesses seeking to integrate sustainability with commercial practices.

Over 10 years of experience in the ethical fashion sector and author of “Can Fashion be Fair?” published in 2004.

Currently working on
The Ethical Fashion Source Expo - the world’s first and only mainstream trade show dedicated to ethical manufacturers and suppliers to the fashion industry, now in its second year, taking place on the 6th of October in London. Visit www.ethicalfashionforum.com/ethical-fashion-source-expo.

Excellence in Ethical Fashion - a programme of seminars, masterclasses, online resources and promotion focused on supporting businesses to excel in both commercial and ethical terms.

Objectives
Develop a collaborative movement which will transform social and environmental standards in the fashion industry within a decade. The EFF works to support and promote sustainable practices, facilitate collaboration, raise awareness and provide the tools and resources needed to reduce poverty and environmental damage and raise standards in the fashion industry.
