A go-through of SS12 highlights

The SS12 season is for many a season of reconstruction, innovation and a renewed

positive outlook. Forthcoming fashion trade shows Terminal-2 and CPH Vision offers a strong merge of brands and designs, all contributing to an overall adventurous and fast moving platform. These keywords for the SS12 season is the theme of our official campaign and will also be the mood setting on sites with expressive creations by Nicolai Bergmann, artistic exhibitions of Designers’ Nest collections at CPH Vision and much more.

In August we welcome a wide set of new exhibitors at the fair. Here comes a quick go-through extracting what to expect at the summer trade shows from up-and-coming designs to well established and familiar brands;

CUTTER & BUCK

Sportswear is bigger than ever and these days not just for sports as much as for stylish daywear with a casual and effortless appearance. Cutter and Buck masters the skills of golf wear. “we design clothes in partnership with international names such as Annika Sörenstam and Stuart Appleby, with feeling, precision and skill. HELLY HANSEN
“We work hard so you can play hard” Also in the performance gear category, we are proud to present Helly Hansen – a brand in the need of no further introduction. Visit them at stand T058 at Terminal

STYLEIN
Minimalism and Beauty are controlling this Swedish brand designed by Elin Nyström claiming to be “Addicted to Balance” and predicted a bright, shiny not least global future. “All designs are inspired by the energies of life, which gives Stylein its unique expression - always with beautiful lines and rare details” Do not miss out on Stylein! MAISON
“Maison is a reflection of now and tomorrow”. The skilled Cecilie Toklum continues to outdo herself with aesthetic, non compromising collections showing Maison footwear as unique art pieces. See for yourself in CPH Vision Stand 091.

BOOMERANG
Boomerang is not only a brand name. Boomerang is a principle about returning and sustainability. Nature is this brand source to force: “The sea, the rocks and the waves which never abate. The ice and snow that freezes and melts, and freezes again. A never-ending cycle. Exactly the way we want our clothes to be.  Be thrown by Boomerang at Terminal-2 stand T002.

HELJE HAMRE
With a show in the official Copenhagen Fashion Week calendar, this Norwegian is unquestionably one to watch! Having worked with the world’s design elite, we are honored he made his way to Copenhagen and the CPH Vision Fairs. Get stunned by his beautiful creations at stand 023.

KUDO SHUJI
The budding jewelry designer about his collection “I design jewelries as "wearable art". Grace is importance for my works. I take advantage of grace, space, the shadow picture, and the solidity of works to have people feel the afterglow of life. I wish that my works becomes a part of people's live”. By The Japan Times Kudo Suji’s work is described as “polished asteroids”. Kudo Suji’s artistic treasures can be sighted at stand 107 at CPH Vision.

EHINGER KRAFTRAD
A brand of true Terminal-2 spirit. Ehinger Kraftrad is mainly known for their classic constructed motorbikes. “All in all it's the same with the fashion line as we do it with the bikes. We take newest techniques for manufacturing of high-level materials and we orientate ourselves on the style of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. As the bikes is every piece traditionally handmade”.A raw collection worthy of view at stand T032 at Terminal-2

DEEPA GHURNANI
Fast rising New York-based hair accessories brand designed by Indian born master beader Deepa Ghurnani and her husband jewelry designer Jay Lakhani. Couture that has been honed by Ghurnani’s embellishments are Alexander McQueen, Fendi and Emmanuel Ungaro. Find these handcrafted, bohemian and elegant hairpieces at stand 002 in CPH Vision.

JOHNNY RAMLI
With fans like Brad Pitt and Michelle Rodrigez this ornament brand – sold in 12 different countries – is the talk of the town(s) these days. “A unique mix of pure and natural materials, redefined asian styling,spiritual meaning and western fashion touch”. Experience for yourself why this brand is a celeb magnet at stand 092 at CPH Vision. Under a very sympatric mantra that clothes is your friend, The Blue Uniform is a quest for the perfect fit. “Friends give us confidence, happiness, security and together we will be unique”.
