Tailor company 'A Suit That Fits' is set to expand in the US, after opening its first studio in New York. The tailoring company
has set it sights on growing on the East Coast the year and is posed to open potential studios in Chicago, Boston, Washington DC and Philadelphia. Co-founder of 'A Suit That Fits,' Warren Bennett commented on the company's expansion plan: “We have always seen the US as a great place for 'A Suit That Fits' with a proportion of our orders being shipped directly to the US.”“Americans are great suit wearers and are becoming increasingly discerning in their taste for fine clothes and dapper tailoring. We learn from the markets we operate in, and we have a strong strategy for growth,” he added, with plans in the pipeline to continue expanding into new markets to make “bespoke tailoring accessible for everyone.”
The UK-based tailor company previously opened its first franchise in Dublin, Ireland last year and since then has been expanding internationally by opening stand-alone stores as well as franchised models. 'A Suit That Fits,' currently runs 12 permanent studies and 33 pop-up Tailor Stops across four countries, including Latvia, where the tailoring company opened its second franchise in February.
“To date we have now tailored over 60,000 garments for our customers and have a current turnover of more than 5 million dollars," added Bennett. "We’re excited to continue to grow outside of the UK into New York City and look forward to expanding out to other fashion-forward cities soon.”
