French fashion house Cacharel has announced that it is ending its  licensing

agreement with Italian manufacturer Aeffe by “common  consent”.

In a statement released by Aeffe, the Italian company confirmed that  the collaboration would end with "the distribution of the  spring-summer 2013 collection”.

Aeffe, who has been producing and distributing a women’s ready-to-wear  apparel collection under the Cacharel label since 2009, said that the  end of the licence would reduce its 2013 revenues by two million  Euros; however the impact on its margins would be around 500,000  Euros.

This is the second blow in as many months for Aeffe, just last month  fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier also confirmed that it would be  parting ways from the Italian manufacturer after working with them  since the mid-90s.
