Allan Winstanley, the executive director of women's wear,

accessories, beauty and visual merchandising at British department store chain House of Fraser, is set to leave his position to take a new role at Dutch premium department store de Bijenkorf.

Winstanley will be leaving HoF in March and join the de Bijenkorf as buying director for all departments. A HoF spokesman confirmed his exit from the company to Drapers and stated that he was leaving the company for an “overseas” role. He added that the HoF team thanks Winstanley for all his “contributions” to the company of the years and “wish him all the success”.

Allan Winstanley first joined the HoF team nine years ago as executive director of menswear, beauty and childrenswear, before moving to his current role in 2012. Prior to working at HoF he was buying manager and then director at Moss Bros Group.

In 2010, de Bijenkorf was acquired by the Weston family, who also own British department store chain Selfridges and has undergone a number of changes to become more like its English counterpart.
