American Apparel opens Selfridges concessions

US casual wear fashion brand, American Apparel, has opened

new concession stores in Selfridges Birmingham and Manchester.

This follows the opening of their Selfridges London concession last year; Marsha Brady, creative director for American Apparel said: “We're continuing to build American Apparel as an international brand and expanding our partnership with Selfridges is the perfect way to do it. These new stores are an opportunity to reach new customers in the UK and provide a great shopping experience."

The 730 sq ft Birmingham concession at Selfridges in the Bullring Shopping Centre is American’s Apparel’s first retail outlet in the city. The 384 sq ft Manchester concession is located 20 minutes away from the company's original store on Market Street. American Apparel has approximately 11,000 employees and operates 249 retail stores in 20 countries worldwide.
