French brand A.P.C. is investing in designer Vanessa Seward who will be unveiling her sixth and final collaboration with the label
this September.The investment will be for her eponymous label, with A.P.C. providing logistical and financial support for venture, which will be unveiled during Autumn/Winter 2015 Paris fashion week. WWD reports that the designer also has plans to begin a rollout of store openings towards the end of 2015 with Paris, New York and Los Angeles all on the plan.
Best known for her role as creative director of Azzaro, the Argentina-born, Paris-based designer has also held positions at Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent, and is known for creating chic, timeless pieces.
Her debut collection is expected to include casual and formal pieces, as well as shoes, bags, belts and costume jewellery.
