Applications open for 2015 BFC/Vogue fund

The British Fashion Council has opened applications for its 2015 BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, which
offers a London Fashion Week designer a 200,000 pound grant to make the transition to a global fashion brand.The fund has previously been awarded to Erdem, Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, Nicholas Kirkwood and Peter Pilotto, and as well as offering money, it also provides the winning designer with access to high level mentoring support.
Deadline for the 2015 fund is October 17 and the winner must demonstrate a clear business plan not only for their current brand positioning, but also where they envisage their brand going in the future, and how the fund would help that vision.
Eligible designers must also have an established business based within the UK, already have UK and international stockists, support from key media, and collections consisting of womenswear, menswear or accessories.
