Aquascutum to open new men's stand alone store

British heritage brand Aquascutum is preparing to open a new menswear only

store in London this summer.

The new 1,268 square foot store is located on Jermyn Street and will be the fourth store the label opens in the country's capital city. The store will offer Aquascutum's mens casual wear, luxury and tailored lines and outerwear collections.

Since being acquired by Chinese company YGM Trading in 2012, the brand has received funding to help support its growth and improve sales. The menswear only store will be the second store to since YGM obtained the label.

Mark Taylor, chief operating officer at Aquascutum, commented: “Following the successful opening of the Great Marlborough Street store in November 2013, the addition of this new menswear store adds an exciting mix to our store portfolio.”

“This was a location that was very important in building our retail presence in central London. It will incorporate a new, unique design concept, still staying true to the brand's British style.”
