Asics to open largest concession in UK at Harrods

Sportswear performance brand Asics is to open its largest concession to date in the UK

within luxury department store Harrods in London.

Located on the department stores fifth floor, the concession will be set over 35 square metres and will open on March 10. It will be the brand’s fourth biggest outlet in London alongside the Asics flagship store on Oxford Street, Argyle Street and Canary Wharf.

Barry Mellis, managing director of Asics UK and Ireland, said: “We are extremely excited and privileged to be launching an Asics store in one of the most prestigious and iconic department stores in the world. As the demand for premium sportswear continues to grow, its opportunity will allow us to deliver the best service and brand experience in a first-class retail environment.”

The concession will stock the brand’s complete performance running collection and will offer customers access to its advanced 3D foot mapping system, which combines static and dynamic movement to find the correct shoes to match people’s individual running style.
