CPH Vision and Terminal-2 take place in prestigious Copenhagen

locations twice a year during Copenhagen Fashion Week in a unique combination of business and creativity.

Since its inception in 1998, CPH Vision has continued to prove its position as the preferred fashion platform for Scandinavian and international designers. Each season CPH Vision welcomes Danish and international fashion buyers and press to Oeksnehallen, located in the city of Copenhagen. The exhibition area was extended in February 2009, with the Terminal-2 trade fair being held in an old locomotive building near Oeksnehallen.

To ensure that our trade shows continue to evolve and remain attractive to exhibitors and fashion professionals, our long-term strategy is to invest in the future of Copenhagen as a fashion city and this often means change. The first step was to grant our visitors free admission to our two exhibitions CPH Vision and Terminal-2, by introducing pre-registration online from August 2011. We are the first trade fair in Copenhagen to do so.

New fashion trade fair concept
We are slowly realising our vision of continuous development and renewal. This autumn we can reveal the August 2012 launch of a new fashion trade fair concept. To maintain momentum and establish the perfect creative setting for future CPH Vision and Terminal-2 trade fairs, the two exhibition areas will be merged in one location from August 2012. Our aim is to meet exhibitor and visitor requirements for a more accessible exhibition platform in Copenhagen – and this demands change.

The locomotive building with its high ceilings, rugged look and industrial style is unique in the world of fashion and from August 2012 this location will provide the perfect backdrop for a fashion city in the city. Not only will an extended trade fair take place in these surroundings, but it will also be the location for catwalk shows, exhibitions, showrooms, parties and events. We want to create the perfect atmosphere in these historical, yet innovative surroundings, where established and up-and-coming fashion designers, lifestyle, art, music and retailers from stores worldwide will come together.

“This future expansion and amalgamation of the two existing fairs CPH Vision and Terminal-2 give new potential to the creation of an inventive and flourishing Scandinavian business platform. This new concept will accommodate both exhibitor and visitor requirements and result in a sharper segmentation, more traffic and a relaxed exhibition environment. All in all, an ideal Nordic trade fair platform attracting international buyers, which will ensure that Copenhagen stays the preferred fashion week in Scandinavia,” says Peter Fenger Selchau, CEO, CPH Vision and Terminal-2.

February 2012 will be the last time CPH Vision takes place in the spectacular Oeksnehallen, but this location will still form part of Copenhagen Fashion Week August 2012 – details to be revealed in 2012.

Next exhibition 2-4 February 2012
CPH Vision at Oeksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen V.

Terminal-2 at the Locomotive Building, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen.
