Womenswear label Bastyan has announced that

each season founder and designer Tonia Bastyan will release a collaborative collection with different designers. Launching for spring 2012, the first Bastyan Collaborare range will be with textile designer Vanessa Harrington and Edinburgh College of Art and Central St Martins graduate, Yong Fong.

The collection comprises of five garments, including a maxi dress, jeans and a ruched leather skirt, as well as two scarves featuring Harrington’s prints and Fong’s drapes. The range will be available in House of Fraser, John Lewis as well as online at www.bastyan.co.uk from March 2012.

The aim of the collection is to both nurture emerging talent as well as offer limited edition pieces to Bastyan shoppers, and each season will be a different British artisan and designer.

Founded in 2010, Bastyan targets the 35 plus market and opened its first store in London last November, backed by Aurora Fashions.
