Danish fashion accessories label Becksöndergaard has appointed two

new managers ahead of its future international expansion plans.

Jettee Romvig and Pernille Skriver are set to join the Copenhagen-based company respectively, in the roles of design manager and the newly created position of brand manager, effective June 1.

Romvig will be joining Becksöndergaard from womenswear label By Malene Birger, where she previously held the role of senior accessories designer. Prior to working for the label, she was creative manager at Danish retailer Magasin du Nord and design manager at IC Companys.

Skriver previously held the position of design manager at womenswear brand Part Two (owned by IC Companys) for the past twelve years, where she has been credited with helming the brand's turnaround. Most recently she worked as brand and concept development consultant for a number of fashion companies.

“We are thrilled to have Jette and Pernille on board! We know that Pernille, with her great taste and experience, will keep the concept and design DNA of Becksöndergaard up-to-date and fresh,” commented Lars Andresen, CEO of Becksöndergaard.

“In addition, Jette, with her creative flair, will take the collection to a new level, expand the portfolio and create new exciting accessories. Together, with the rest of our organization, they will continue to expand our international sales and increase our brand awareness.”

Becksöndergaard, best known for its scarves, was founded in 2003 by Lis Beck und Anna Søndergaard. The new appointments come not longer after the label announced the appointed of Lars Andresen earlier this year, who succeeded Lesia Zuk, as CEO.
