British fashion and leisure brand Bench is returning to menswear tradeshow Pitti Uomo this month to showcase its new design

direction for Spring/Summer 2015, which will focus on “multipurpose city clothing”.

The change in direction follows the brands parent company Americana International being acquired in February by Emeram Capital Partners, who have appointed new agents and distributors as part of a strategic review of the brand.

Bench has not shown at Pitti since its Spring/Summer 2012 collection and is returning after naming Brekka SRL as its Italian distributor, as well as feeling that it is the right tradeshow to “reinforce” its menswear collections.

The brand will also be introducing its Multipurpose City Life Clothing range and the Multipurpose City Performance Clothing range, which features a “contemporary and functional-led approach” to product design to meet the demands of contemporary urban lifestyles.

Bench’s head of marketing Emily Frazer said: “Pitti is still very popular and relevant for Bench, not only to reinforce our presence in menswear distribution channels, but also an incredible opportunity to meet customers and introduce them to the developments within our apparel ranges with the necessary care and attention.”
