Benetton Group has sold its remaining stake in Brunello Cucinelli, a just under 2 percent participation in the cashmere manufacturer

brand.

Likewise, Edizione Holding has sold its entire share of RCS.

The investment vehicle of the Benetton family, Edizione Holding, has divested completely from RCS, while Benetton Group left its Italian luxury fashion peer.

As reported by ‘Il Sole 24 Ore’, this is the final stage in a strategy launched in 2013.

The costs of restructuring the family-run Benetton have prompted a fall in profits from 262 million to 139 million euro between 2012 and 2013.
