Betsey Johnson launches activewear collection

New York Fashion Week designer Betsey Johnson is launching a line of activewear.

The 72 year-old designer's collection will launch in the fall and focuses on performance as well as style. Johnson's signature colour pink will feature throughout the range of nylon leggings, heat-retaining zip-up jackets, sweat-free T-shirts embellished with details like fishnets, peplum structures, bows and jacquard patterns.

Betsey Johnson stated: ''BJ loves kicking A! I'm so excited about the collaboration for the new activewear collection, which I feel has the perfect mix of performance, prettiness and punk.''

Retail prices are expected to range from 49 to 120 dollars.
