Govan Originals and Gothenburg Boots have been named the winners
of the British Footwear Association’s second Accelerated Development Programme.
The annual scheme is designed to add a further dimension to the BFA mentoring services by channelling expert help and advice to companies within the footwear industry. The aim of the ADP is to help up-and-coming footwear brands managing their growth and to create opportunities of further success.
Govan Originals and Gothenburg Boots were selected after an interview process from a shortlist of some of the best emerging footwear brands in the country, who are members of the BFA, and follow on from the first participants in the scheme - Beyond Skin, Joanne Stoker, Laidback London, Northern Cobbler and Zoe Lee.
Both companies will be individually matched with a trained senior mentor drawn from the industry to help them maximise their potential and accelerate towards profitable growth.
