BHS adds to senior team

Fashion retail group Arcadia has appointed two trading directors to its BHS chain,

Sara Bradley to head up womenswear and Gavin Daniels to take on menswear.

Bradley, who was head of buying at Marks & Spencer, joins the chain in the newly-created role of trading director for womenswear, accessories and lingerie, while Daniels has been named trading director for menswear and childrenswear.

Prior to her role at Marks & Spencer, Bradley was clothing director at Sainsbury’s Tu and womenswear general manager for George at Asda; she also previously worked at BHS and within the Arcadia group as buying director.

Daniels, meanwhile, joins from TK Maxx, where he was merchandising director, prior to that he held the same role at Debenhams. Both Bradley and Daniels will report to BHS chief executive Richard Price.
