BlueBella to launch Fifty Shades of Grey lingerie

Lingerie brand BlueBella is to design and produce the

official Fifty Shades of Grey lingerie and underwear range in the UK and Ireland, debuting for Christmas.

The collection inspired by E L James’s tale of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, will be unveiled at Birmingham’s Moda tradeshow next month with a capsule collection for Christmas, which is set to be followed by a full range that is due to launch for spring/summer 2014 ahead of the trilogy’s anticipated first film next summer.

The initial gifting collection includes messaged knickers with phrases such as ‘You. Are. Mine’ and ‘Later’s Baby’, as well as camisole and shorts sets, corset-back knickers and body bows, and open bra and brief sets with satin ties. The collection also features ‘Christian Grey’ men’s boxers.

Commenting on the collection, BlueBella CEO Emily Bendell said: “We believe every woman should confidently embrace and enjoy her sensuality and the Fifty Shades of Grey books have played a significant role in shifting perceptions of female sensuality. This is core to our vision too, so we feel this is a perfect partnership.

“We are thrilled to be translating this iconic brand and the debut gift collection will be perfect for Christmas and Valentine’s and we are designing an extensive and gorgeous second collection to launch next year.”
