Bottega Veneta posts rise in sales

Bottega Veneta, the Italian luxury house best known for its artisan woven leather
accessories, posted a growth of 31 per cent in its turnover for the first 9 months of 2012, to 242 million euro.The company is owned by French luxury group PPR, also known as the Gucci Group.
According to reports, Bottega Veneta registered exceptional performance across all international markets, both mature and emerging.
In the past 9 months, Bottega Veneta's stand alone boutiques increased with 14 to 184 stores, most of which are directly operated. Along with Gucci, Alexander McQueen and Stella Mc Cartney, Bottega Veneta is one of the best performing brands of French luxury group PPR.
