Boux Avenue, the lingerie chain owned by entrepreneur Theo Paphitis, is opening its first ever
airport store this week at Manchester Airport’s Terminal One.The store, which will mark the brand’s 22nd outlet, will sell bikinis and kaftans, as well as lingerie and nightwear to travellers looking for last minute holiday purchases.
Commenting on the opening, Paphitis said: "Opening a Boux Avenue in an airport has been on the radar for some time now, so when the opportunity came up at Manchester and in such a prime location, we jumped at the chance.
“Manchester is the largest airport outside of London, and with over 21 million passengers a year passing through, it’s a great location for our latest store. I am confident shoppers will be spoilt for choice with our bespoke customer service, exceptional quality and range of products.”
Manchester Airports Group retail director Beth Brewster added: “We’re delighted to welcome Boux Avenue to our retail portfolio and are thrilled to be their first airport store. Joining us at our busiest time of the year, with nine million passengers expected to travel throughout the summer season, and opening in our flagship terminal, we are confident that this store will be a huge success.”
