London-based shirtmaker TM Lewin is continuing its international

expansion with the announcement that it is to open standalone stores in Australia. The move follows the success of the brand launching its shirts into concessions within Australian retailer Myer’s Syndey and Melbourne stores.

To aid its success the brand has appointed advertising agency Ogilvy Sydney to manage the launch of its branded retail stores. The company will be developing a multimedia campaign to launch the Sydney and Melbourne stores.

Andrew Baxter, CEO, Ogilvy Australia said: “We believe in the strength of the TM Lewin brand and are looking forward to telling their positive brand story by leveraging a number of the brand’s unique assets.”

Gerard Crawford, Country Manager – Australia, TM Lewin added: “We were impressed with Ogilvy’s overall approach, creativity and strategy. They will add value across the entire communications mix to help drive our business forward in a challenging retail market.”

TM Lewin currently has 60 shops across the UK, as well as a presence in Malaysia and Singapore, and offers men’s and women’s casual and business-ware and accessories.
