The International Talent Support Competition (ITS), has announced the winners for its 2014 edition, which include British

talents Zoe Waters and Katherine Roberts-Woods. The ceremony took place last weekend in Trieste, Italy.

Currently in its thirteenth year, the ITS is a platform which offers support to young international design talents from all over the world by offering them an opportunity to showcase their work to a panel of industry renowned experts. Categories include fashion, accessories and jewelry and with over forty finalists from fashion schools such as the Royal College of Art, Institut Francais de la Mode in Paris, The Royal Academy of Art, Central St. Martins College of Art and Design and the London College of Fashion.

From the 42 finalist selection for the competition, two British graduates were awarded. Royal College of Art graduate Katherine Roberts-Woods was awarded the 'Fashion Collection of the Year' award for her spherical and futuristic womenswear collection. The award includes a cash prize of 15,000 euros as well as the chance to return to ITS next year as part of the jury and to present a new collection.

She was also awarded the Vogue Talent Award for fashion, which includes a publication sometime this year on the Vogue Talents website featuring a photo shoot and an interview, as well as a feature in the September issue of Vogue Italia.

The Diesel award, one of the main sponsors to the competition, went to Zoe Waters, currently a student at the Royal Collection of Art for her collection based on the theme “Denim Movement”. The young Brit was awarded a 25,000 euro cash prize, as well as a 6 month internship at Diesel's creative team headquarters in Italy.

“We choose Zoe Waters because the collection that she has designed for ITS in 2014 runs in the same line with Diesel's DNA, in particular her work with biker jackets, leather, zippers and military elements. Additionally, Zoe revealed that she would like to work with a team in a design studio, which made her stand out and is also similar to the way we work,” commented Nicola Formichetti, artistic director at Diesel.
