This summer will see Britain welcoming masses of visitors to revel in The Queen’s Jubilee

celebrations and the awesome sporting spectacle of the Olympics in London.

‘Made
in Britain’ style initiatives and campaigns have been launching all over the country to further demonstrate the greatness of Britain and to re-energise retailers for the forthcoming trading season as tourism levels increase. Despite the recession, the childrenswear industry is still reporting demand from consumers for high quality products at reasonable prices.

Children’s fashion buyers looking for quintessentially British products will have the opportunity to seek out such goods at Bubble London, the UK’s leading children’s fashion trade event, which takes place from 17-18 June at the Business Design Centre, Islington. Launching at this season’s show will be Bubble Homegrown, a celebration of brands designed and manufactured exclusively in the UK.

Bubble Homegrown aims to highlight to the world the long term benefits and desirability of British resources. Labels proudly flying the flag for Britain include Beauty & the Bib, Inch Blue, Grubbies, Rock n Regal, Poppy, Beau Loves, Pili Pala Childrenswear, Poppet, Tulip & Nettle, Helen Gordon and Organics for Kids all showcasing their design prowess with fashion, footwear, accessories and gift ideas for spring/summer 13. More homegrown advocates such as Little Mashers, Childs Farm, Immink and Teddy & Me will also be brand new to the show.

Bubble London will host over 250 fashion, footwear, accessories collections and more from an international selection of brands. For further information please visit bubblelondon.com.
