Set up by Colin McDowell, in a week time the entries for emerging talent platform

Fashion Fringe 2011 will close. Budding designers can submit their work until 4th May.

Three selected candidates will be given studio space throughout the summer, to work on their first Fashion Fringe collection at London Fashion Week in September. The jury, including Claudia Schiffer and Roland Mouret, will mentor the designers. One designer will be selected as the overall winner, and will receive a two-year development package to set up and sustain their business. This includes a mixture of cash, business advice, mentoring and an equipped studio at Somerset House.

Fashion Fringe was set up in 2004 by Colin McDowell in association with IMG Fashion. The initiative has helped launch over seventeen designers onto the London fashion scene.
