Camilla Al Fayed, daughter of former Harrods boss, has bought

a 51% share in designer label, Issa, which will see her develop the brand and implement further global reach.

Founder and designer, Daniella Helayel, will continue in her role as creative director of the label which launched in 2003 and shows during London Fashion Week.

Al Fayed commented, ‘We're restructuring the whole business model, which will involve a number of managerial changes. We will launch an ecommerce store in the coming month and then we'll be looking to open standalone stores - certainly in London and Brazil - in the next few years. The long-term plan is to create a lifestyle brand - with childrenswear and homewares. The Issa label has a lot more to give and we're very excited about the future."
