Property developer Canary Wharf Group has signed up

Banana Republic, Michael Kors, and Cos for its Jubilee Place shopping centre extension, which is set to open in November.

The 43,000 square foot extension is being redeveloped from an old car park underneath the existing Jubilee Place mall, which is being freed up due to the fact that most shoppers travel to the area by train.

American chain Banana Republic has signed up to the largest unit, occupying more than 7,500 square feet, while H&M’s Cos brand will take a 2,372 square feet space. The development has also attracted retailers Oliver Bonas, Orlebar Brown, The White Company and Emmett Shirts who have all taken units within the extension.

In addition to the new extension, the group is also building 115,000 square foot of retail space above the new CrossRail station.
