Candy Kittens, the confectionery and clothing retailer co-founded by
Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing, is set to open a 1,755 square foot store within the new Manesty's Lane pop up-space at the Liverpool One shopping centre.Situated between Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols and John Lewis, Candy Kittens will be the first brand to create a temporary store within the new pop-up space, which has been designed to offer new and established brands to open within Liverpool One. The pop-up will be open for nine days from February 21.
Erin O’Connor, retail and business development manager at Candy Kittens, said: “Opening in a dedicated space for pop-ups is a first for us, but I am sure Liverpool One’s idea will catch-on. It makes things so much easier for brands that thrive on maximising exposure in a very concentrated period of time.”
Miles Dunnett, head of asset management at Liverpool One owner Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, added: “Liverpool One has a strong heritage in supporting successful pop-up stores, from fashion designers to a seasonal asparagus store.
“It was a logical step, therefore, to create a permanent space in which brands can bring themselves to life for visitors to Liverpool One. Candy Kittens gives our new dedicated pop-up space a great start, combining a unique concept with the added appeal of a celebrity connection.”
