Caroline Brown rumored to be jumping ship to Donna Karan

Caroline Brown, president at Carolina Herrera, may be taking on a new role in the

near future.

According to internal sources, Brown has been tapped as chief executive officer of Donna Karan International, succeeding Mark Weber, who took on the role in 2006.

On Wednesday WWD reported that Brown is set to step down from her current position at Carolina Herrera by the end of the this year to take on a new challenge. LVMH, the parent company of Donna Karan International is thought to have been looking for Weber's successor for a while now.

Neither Caroline Brown, nor LVMH commented on the rumors.
