Carven to show at Pitti Uomo

Carven menswear is to debut at Pitti Uomo this season.The French fashion

house, which launched menswear for Spring Summer 2012, has been invited to be the guest menswear designer at the Florentine tradeshow. Past guest designers have included Raf Simons and Valentino.

Carven's creative director, Guillaume Henry will show the brand's Spring 2013 collection.
Lapo Cianchi, director of communications and events for trade show organiser Pitti Immagine, said: “Carven is one of France’s historic labels and now, with Guillaume Henry as artistic director, it is enjoying a new burst of strength.”

He added Carven’s concept “harmonised perfectly with the general trend we are promoting at Pitti Uomo: a new, sartorial elegance and affordable luxury in menswear”.
