Central St Martins collaborates with LVMH

Famed British fashion design school, Central St Martins,

has collaborated with LVMH to feature a new state of the art lecture theatre.

To feature in their new Kings Cross building The luxury conglomerate has also announced plans for a scholarship programme to recruit promising designers from the university for its stable of brands, WWD reports, including Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Christian Dior and Celine.

"For more than 150 years Central Saint Martins has pioneered radical innovations in art and design teaching and learning. Its influence feeds into the arts educational system, culture, industry and mainstream society and contributes to the high international value placed on British culture and creativity," Professor Jane Rapley OBE, head of Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, said. "Our new building allows us to create the highest quality learning environment - a place connected to the most advanced developments in contemporary culture and industry - a place where students and staff will continue to provoke, challenge, inspire and take risks."

The building will open this week with expected past and present famed alumi attending.
