CFDA and Vogue reveal Americans in Paris line-up

For the sixth season, the Council for Fashion Designers of America is hosting
a showcase for emerging American fashion designers during Paris Fashion Week, as part of its CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund “Americans in Paris” initiative.
Designers taking part in the Autumn/Winter 2014 showcase will be: Marc Alary, Richard Chai, George Esquivel, Jennifer Fisher, Juan Carlos Obando, Nonoo (Misha Nonoo), Public School (Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne), The Elder Statesman (Greg Chait), TOME (Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin) and Wes Gordon.
The initiative aims to give each designer exposure to a wide array of international retailers through the Paris showroom, as well as give them “global exposure” and sales, marketing and media support to expand their respective businesses.
“We are looking forward to introducing a new group of American design talent to the global market,” said Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA. “In our sixth season, we continue to support designer alumni from the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund by providing access to new retail relationships and international opportunities.”
The showroom be located at Le 8 Valois and will be open from March 1- 3 during Paris Fashion Week.
