French lingerie group Chantelle has acquired Dutch lingerie chain Livera from Euretco, which has more than 100 franchises in the country,
for an undisclosed amount.According to Euretco the acquisition does not signal an organisation change in strategy, rather an “expanding and strengthening” of its franchises like Intersport, Runnersworld, Coach, Decorette, P. and Libris, which it adds “remain of paramount importance” in its overall strategy.
Commenting on the purchase, Chantelle management said: "We look forward to combining the expertise of Livera as a franchisee with the product knowledge of Chantelle with the ultimate goal to provide great services combined with the best possible range.”
Livera, which current has a franchise format encompassing 58 business people with 102 stores, will continue to be helmed by Ruud Jacobse, the current director of Livera BV.
The Dutch lingerie chain will join Chantelle Group’s other brands including Chantelle, Passionata and Chantal Thomass.
