Charlotte Olympia Dellal, founder of her own luxury eponymous
footwear and accessories line, has opened her first store in Asia, in partnership with On Pedder Group. The 75 square meter store is located in Hong Kong's popular shopping center The Landmark, and was inspired by the “by-gone era of old Hollywood glamour”.
The boutique features Charlotte Olympia's signature golden spider web on its glass entrance, as well as brass bamboo paneling and a mirrored wall which showcases the shoe and handbag collections.
For the store's interior furnishing, plush Eames-style seating in blush and leopard-print were selected to compliment the store' s 'open vision' concept, which is accentuated by rectangle window displays.
“I am delighted to be opening my first store at such an internationally renowned shopping destination as The Landmark,” said Dellal. “It marks a key milestone in the development of Charlotte Olympia in Asia.”
Charlotte Olympia previously celebrated the store's opening last Wednesday with a spy-themed party, inspired by its pre-fall collection called Eye-Spy that was influenced by Bettie Page and is currently available in stores and online.
The luxury label's founder previously revealed plans to bring Charlotte Olympia stand-alone store total to nine by the end of the year, as part of the brand's plan to build up its international following.
