The French luxury group saw strong growth in retail

sales revenue during the period: an added 16 percent at actual exchange rates and 23 percent more at constant exchange rates. “All markets and product lines contributed to this excellent performance,” added the company in a note.

Revenue at the Christian Dior group for the period comprehended from July 1 to September 30, 2013 came in at 7.4 billion euros, increased by 2 percent on a year-on-year basis. Organic revenue growth was of 9 percent for the period.

Christian Dior Couture posted quarterly revenue up by 14 percent to 369 million euros, at actual exchange rates and 19 percent at constant exchange rates versus the period from July 1 to September 30, 2012.

Reinforced by the strong quarter performance, Christian Dior remains positive about the short term, as advanced earlier this week: “Despite the uncertain economic environment in Europe, the Christian Dior group remains confident about the months to come and will continue its proactive strategy centred on innovation and targeted geographic expansion in the most promising markets.”

“The Christian Dior group will rely on the power of its brands and the talent of its teams to further extend its global leadership in the luxury market.”
