Fashion label Christian Lacroix has announced a new

five-year licensing deal with Italian firm Lubiam to develop, produce and manufacture its menswear line, after its previous European licensee, Sadev, went into liquidation.

The agreement will start with the spring/summer 2014 collection and the debut collection will be showcased during men’s fashion week in Milan in June with a presentation.

The license is valid for Europe, the US and the Middle East, and represents an expansion for the Christian Lacroix label, as well as an opportunity for Lubiam to expand internationally, which currently has three collections Luigi Bianchi Mantova, LBM 1911 and 1911 Lubiam ceremony.

Additionally, the French brand has also inked a five-year specialist licensing deal with Accessories Headquarters to develop, manufacture and distribute men’s and women’s accessories, including handbags, small leather goods and travel accessories in North America.

The first collection will be rolled out for Holiday 2013 and will be sold across various distribution channels, including department stores, specialty stores, and e-commerce.
