Christopher Kane wins at Elle Style Awards

London Fashion Week designer Christopher Kane was crowned British Designer of the Year, at the

17th annual Elle Style Awards last night in London, which celebrates stylish stars and fashion talent.

Fellow LFW designer, Emilia Wickstead, was also honoured; she took home the accolade of Red Carpet Designer of the Year, while Accessory Designer of the Year went to Kate Hillier.

Isabel Marant was also a winner, scooping the coveted Contemporary Designer of the Year award, and Nicola Formichetti was honoured as a Fashion Innovator for his work as artistic director of Diesel.

There was also an award for iconic photographer David Bailey who was presented with the lifetime achievement award by designer Tom Ford.
