Los Angeles-based premium denim brand Citizens of Humanity

has launched its e-commerce in both the United States and Japan.

The site will launch with the women’s and men’s holiday 2013 collections, as well as a selection of exclusive products such as limited edition merchandise from the brand's ‘Just Like You’ philanthropic film collaborations, and will work in conjunction with programs such as LinkShare and RewardStyle, to develop affiliate programs with bloggers and select account partners.

Commenting on the launch, president Amy Williams said: "We are excited for the next step in the development of the Citizens of Humanity brand. We are eager to fully share our product range, brand image and specific creative messages with our customers. Partnering and building deeper relationships with each of our retail affiliates is a very meaningful part of this project."

The simultaneously launch in the US and Japan follows the brands strong following in Japan, and is in conjunction with the denim label’s first free standing store in Tokyo, which is due to open in November.

Established in 2003, the Los Angeles-based brand designs, markets and produces more than one million pairs of jeans annually, and is sold at over 1,300 points of sale across 35 countries. Stockists in the UK include online retailer Asos, Anthropologie and Shopbop, and in America the denim label is available in luxury department stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's.
