The Copenhagen Fashion

Week is growing with each new edition, and Copenhagen is on its way to becoming one of the most influential fashion cities in the world. Last year we announced that CFW offers the biggest collection of labels anywhere in the world outside of Paris. The organizers of the fair recently announced a partnership with the prestigious Paris trade fair WHO’S NEXT PRÊT-A-PORTER PARIS - which means a bridge has been built between the two most important fashion events in the world. Surely this says it all…

1 Registration, 4000 Labels

The most important motivation behind the partnership was to create an extra impulse to visit both events.A single registration provides admittance to both trade fairs, and why not? The collaboration is not far-fetched. Both fairs operate according to the same exclusive standards, and challenge themselves to put in place increasingly successful events every season. Besides, the event dates are spread widely enough: WHO’S NEXT takes place from 6 to 9 July, and CFW from 8 to 10 August. A weekend in Paris, and a weekend in Copenhagen. What’s not to love? In addition, visitors are absolutely guaranteed to be on top of every single trend of this season. They will be assured of a great deal of inspiration, something many entrepreneurs must travel far and wide to discover, as a result of the current state of the retail trade. The organizers are delighted with their decision and are calling it an important step forward in their service model for both visitors and exhibitors.

Christian Gregersen, CEO Gallery International Fashion Fair: “With one ticket for the leading fairs in Copenhagen and Paris we have made it easier for professional visitors. They only have to register once to access both of these destinations. This is an important step towards increasing the service level for our visitors and our exhibitors.”

Xavier Clergerie, General Manager of WAN Développement: “The collaboration with the Copenhagen Fashion Week trade shows will allow our visitors to access over 4000 labels with just one badge.”

In other words: Register once and gain access to 4000 labels! A unique partnership and an absolute upgrade for Europe, as far as its global positioning is concerned. One of many, by the way, as we have already discussed Copenhagen as the portal to Asia. This international mélange is gaining importance with every passing season. For example, Max Tan - famous Singapore designer - will debut at the Gallery with a catwalk show. Various new labels have also signed up, including Diesel and Kitsuné.

Stays at a 3* hotel in Copenhagen for free.

Still not convinced? Why not experience it first hand? In order to make the decision easier for you, Copenhagen is offering visitors to the CFW two overnight stays at a 3* hotel in Copenhagen for free.

We feel that everybody involved with the fashion industry should visit this inspiring event.
