Visit the CFW together with FashionUnited. That the

Scandinavian fashion world is more than taken seriously is clearly obvious by now. In fact, Copenhagen is emerging, slowly but surely, as one of the most influential fashion cities in the world. Partly due to the gateway to Asia, the impressive selection of brands and the down-to-earth approach, many more brands want to participate in the Copenhagen Fashion Week. Crisis or not; the waiting list for Galley is getting longer and longer and the biggest names are presenting themselves. It promises to be yet another wonderful edition!

Newcomers at Gallery

Due to the considerable interest, the Gallery fair floor has been extended again this year. On a subtle scale though because according to CEO Gregersen, the fair’s defining core value is that the supply must remain exclusive and unique. Last week, Gallery’s organisation announced about 30 new exhibitors. No small fry we can conclude. Names like Armani Jeans, Paul Smith, Max Tan, PUMA Black Label, Kitsuné, Black Edition, PEdAL ED, Asger Juel Larsen, Karhu, Camo and Numero 10 will be showing their wares and that is but a handful of the unique offerings. We are extremely curious as to whether the fair can maintain its growth (the winter edition 2013 grew with 12,684 visitors, a good 10% compared to February 2012) but with such a strong selection, such a showscene and so many innovations we would be surprised if it didn’t…

Lounging and basketballs

In order to impress visitors to the fair once again, Gallery is opening 2 new areas in the coming edition; a lounge area and an enormous basketball court. And as you have come to expect from the fair, the showscene in the green park will, once again, be more than impressive this season and more international than ever before!

Maybe it is about time to visit the Danish capital this summer. Additional inspiration and a positive boost in these difficult economic times are always welcomed! And to make that decision even easier, Copenhagen is offering visitors to the CFW two overnight stays at a 3* hotel in Copenhagen for free. Since in their opinion, everyone in the industry should visit this inspiring and vibrant fashion event at least once. And Copenhagen itself also has a lot to offer!
