COS, the H&M owned premium high street brand, is expanding the brand into Turkey

with the launch of its inaugural store in Istanbul.

The brand renowned for offering core wardrobe essentials for both men and women has chosen to enter the Turkish retail market in the city of Istanbul due to it being a “vibrant and exciting” city, and will open its first store within the landmark Zorlu Centre development later this year.

Commenting on the Turkish expansion, COS spokesperson, Marie Honda, said: “We are all looking forward to the opening. Istanbul is a vibrant and exciting city and we feel the Zorlu Centre will be the ideal setting”.

COS launched on London’s Regent Street in 2007, and since then it has grown to more than 65 stores in 17 countries including European countries Germany, France, Spain, and Ireland, as well as the Middle East, and China.

A launch date for the Istanbul store is still to be confirmed.
