Daks signs license with Borbonese

British heritage label Daks has signed a deal with Italian licensing group Borbonese to create

and distribute an accessories line.

The new collection will coincide with Dak’s 120th anniversary, with Bordonese designing, producing, and distributing the brand’s first accessories line for men and women in Europe, Russia and the Middle Eastern from January 2014.

Bordonese, founded in 1910, offers its own branded range of bags, small leather goods, shoes and womenswear, and also used to create accessories for Moschino and Armani.

Daks, known for its unique House Check, is exported to 30 countries and sold in more than 2,000 speciality shops across the globe. The fashion house also has three standalone stores in the UK include a flagship boutique on London’s Old Bond Street, as well as outlets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Thailand.
