Womenswear brand Darling, which is currently showcasing its
latest collection at Pure London, has confirmed that it has outsources its sales for the first time and appointed its first UK sales agent.Darling, founded by London-based designer Nadia Moraes, has appointed Blustocking, the young fashion wholesaler, as it looks to grow its stockist base in Scotland and the North of England.
Previously sold direct from its showroom in central London, Darling now in its fourth year and riding high off its Womenswear Brand of the Year win at last year’s Drapers Awards, has tasked Blustocking to work with independents, multiples and department stores to build its retail presence.
Commenting on the appointment, Heff Moraes, director at Darling, said: “Blustocking was a natural choice for Darling, as it is well established with a wealth of experience in the northern markets.
“The agency has a great showroom and already represents a list of brands that complement our offering.”
Niki Levene, founder of Blustocking, added: “I’ve admired the Darling brand since its conception and have watched its steady growth. Our customers are very excited we are now working with Darling and are already making appointments to see the collections at trade shows and in our lively Manchester showroom.”
