Coveted by Rachel Weisz and Kate Moss, fashion label De Roemer took up residency at Connaught

Village. Set up by Tamsin De Roemer and Justin Packshaw, the space will house a shop, offices and a showroom.

The new De Roemer store design pays respect to the grade II listed Edwardian building whilst giving it a contemporary twist. The exterior features a bow windowed early Edwardian façade painted in De Roemer neon colours. The new boutique opened with a range from their AW10 collections of women’s and men's cashmere, fine jewellery and accessories.

Tamsin De Roemer was born en schooled in London, and moved into designing after staying in Japan and Asia. In 1997 she partnered up with Jade Jagger and launched Jade Inc. Three years later Asprey & Garrard appointed the two to design a collection for Asprey, due to the success they were asked to stay on. De Roemer left Garrard in 2004 to concentrate on her own label.

Michael Ward, Managing Director of Harrods just became the label’s chairman. De Roemer won the Walpole Luxury Brand of Tomorrow award and met Michael Ward through that association.
